The strong tonal and visual presence is a result of their materials, with a select spruce top and highly flamed maple back, ribs, and scroll. These vibrant tonewoods are treated with a hand-applied antique-style spirit varnish and include hand-carved ebony pegs, tailpiece and chinrest.
